2D and 3D Drafting
2D and 3D Drafting
iJax can offer drafting services also known as CAD or Computer Aided Design. There is a great demand for this service as there are a lot of individuals and small to medium sized companies that have need of CAD facilities but do not have the infrastructure in place to employ it themselves.
Building, Electrical and Plumbing companies, to name just a few, all use plans but often have to resort to drawing or altering them by hand, as they do not have the facilities to convert them into an electronic format. There are huge benefits in using CAD drawings rather than traditional drafting techniques, the main one being the time saved in the alteration and amendments to the drawing.
The use of 3D has become more prevalent over the past few years. The possibilities in using such techniques are limitless and are often used to visualise objects or buildings before they have been created.
In most architectural cases the 3D model of a building is created to gain the interest of potential financiers and buyers, they can look at virtual flyovers of the entire development as well as walk through the buildings even before the bricks and mortar have been delivered to the construction site. These models are also used very effectively in problem spotting, for instance, using real world lighting you can see whether there is enough natural light in a room, or by using a virtual camera to see whether you can actually shut the kitchen door when you’re making a brew.
3D Models and animation can also be used to explain how things work, for example, how the moon orbits the Earth or how a piece of machinery works.
Getting your company logo modelled in 3D and having it spin around a computer desktop as a screen saver is also a wonderful way of enhancing your corporate image and can also be used as a promotional tool by giving it to clients as a gift.
